I began my career as an in-home childcare provider in 2013. I traveled around the world as a short-term au pair in four different countries for a little over two years, and then landed in California when I came back to the USA, where I have had the pleasure of working with two different families for longer periods of time.

On this site you’ll be able to find a lot of information about my childcare experience and philosophy, but if you’d like to learn more about me and my interests, this is the place!

I enjoy keeping myself busy and active. I spend my weekends hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, and playing music. I am a member of the Peninsula Symphonic Band, and occasionally am able to join Awesöme Orchestra at pop-up open rehearsals. I enjoy finding new places to explore, and spend vacation time heading to new national parks and generally treating life as an adventure in and of itself! For more relaxing activities, I read and listen to audiobooks at a pretty quick pace (It’s looking like I’m on track to top 100 books this year!) I enjoy writing in my journal, and it’s fun to occasionally read old ones to take a trip down memory lane. I keep an assortment of craft supplies on hand for making cards or adding an extra splash of color to my journals, and enjoy keeping in touch with a few close friend pen-pal style. I am trying to improve my drawing skills, but so far can only copy coloring book-style outlines, and am recently motivated to expand my knitting skills to more than just simple scarves. Though they live in Ohio, I am close with my family; we video call often to keep in touch. I listen to all sorts of music, from classical/instrumental to 60’s and 70’s rock to country to showtunes. I love Halloween, and will usually start at the end of summer scouring thrift shops to piece together a costume - this year, I’m planning on dressing as Luisa Madrigal!

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your family! You can contact me at (650) 468 0697.
